got copies of the new seven inch...out on monday, and it looks awesome...very punky...in a clear plastic bag with a black screenprint of justine screaming on the front of it.
Weird gig last night...quite unlike any show we have played before, im still not quite sure what was going on up there in Nottingham ...strange vibe all round but the venue itself The Rescue Rooms is fantastic.
I just wanted to say thanks to you guys that travelled out to see us, keep the faith you little monkeys..jonny

Fantastic news, woke up after a great gig in Worcester to discover that 'Live A Little' is Single of the week in The Guardian guide this morning [they forget to mention that the single is also coming out on Purr] but ...wow

Plus M.A.S.S. are now endorsed by the true spirit of Rock And Roll by being listed and noteably mentioned @ www.grunnenrocks.nl

Well, it's loud infectious rock'n'roll time again and MASS have got plenty of what it takes to make you bleed in all the right places. A lady singer who sounds like she knows one end of a good night out from the other engaged in a loose duet with a man who sings like he was raised tethered in an attic. An evil marching beat unlawfully wedded to some filthy guitars, a "yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah" chorus and it's enough to make the dead sit up and nod.

Good gig @ Dingwalls in London last night with the Ex-models and Parva, one of the support bands, were really good as well and .... while we were out, John Peel played 'Live A Little'.. hurrah!
Recording XFM session for Claire Sturgess today and then off to interview with Andrew Collins for BBC 6Music.
Tomorrow off to Worcester to play @ The Marrs Bar which should be a goodie... we are 'supporting' The Snorkels.. has anyone ever heard of them?

A few of us are off to join the London march today to do our bit and then hitting Highbury Corner; one lot off to see The Detroit Cobras @ The Garage and the others to see LOW and Byrne @ The Union Chapel... could all get messy.

Everything's looking good for the single, Colin Murray has already played it and sung it's praises on Radio One this week and it is actually on the 'A' list at BBC 6music. It's also on a playlist @ XFM in London.. the C2 list [which means it isn't scheduled to be played before 7PM] This will improve if the response guaged from shows like Zane Lowe's music response is positive. So fingers crossed.
